This procedure can be used in men and women. Local injection of dutasteride prevents the systemic side effects of taking it as a medication. Please note- pregnant and nursing women cannot get this procedure. If you aren't sure of your pregnancy status- let us know and we can do an in-office pregnancy test for you. Come in about 30 mins ahead of time for numbing of your scalp please!
